Hi,
I have recently become very interested in African night crawlers for professional reasons. I do not sell worms, or castings or cocoons but I did develop a machine that seperates horse manure from sawdust bedding 15 years ago. Last April I was contacted by a worm farmer and asked to develop a sifting screen for my existing machine that would make a three way seperation of castings, cocoons and worms. We were successful and I have built and sold a couple of these machines. I joined this forum not to advertise but to learn more about the needs of the worm farmers.
When people call me about my machine they ask questions I have no way of knowing how to answer because I'm a horse manure expert not a worm poop expert. I can look at this forum and learn.
A little about me: I'm 71 and retired except for the self employment of building sifters. My background is in computers and engineering. I was a field engineering manager with Honeywell for 20 years. My email is shifter@hughes.net and my website is http://www.brockwoodfarm.com. I live in Nashville, Indiana and enjoy good red wine, all kinds of music and gardening in my vegetable patch.
