What I am feeding is more like granules and powder, no fibres at all. I just sprinkle a light coating over the bed and they eat it within 24 hours. I haven't been to the produce store yet sorry.

The pony pellets are only being eaten if nothing else is on offer.

Sorry for the delay on getting back on this one. The stuff is Copra and on the bag is says that it is a by product of extracting Cocnut Oil from the kernels. It cost $15 per 20kg bag. Hope this helps. :) :)

That is what I was thinking as I read through the posts. Coir would NOT be very fattening but coconut meat WOULD be.

Looking at the bag the other day I got the impression that it was made from the white flesh as well. The worms really like it
